18 month check up

I don't know why I haven't posted this post yet. Oh yes I do my house is a mess because we had clarks here for spiders and bugs and at the same time the AC went out and now my washer is dying. Along with that is the fact that the boys now know and try to double team me. Ethan can climb on the kitchen table and Owen will take that moment to get into the DVDs or stand on the TV or take a disk out of the wii. Not to mention the tantrums.

SOoooo last Friday the boys had their check up. They got three shots each because a shot they got before is being phased out in favor of one that is better (it covers 13 things rather than 7). But you don't really care about that. What you want to hear is that the boys are good and growing and healthy. Well they are.

Owen
Height 31in
Weight 24 lbs 13 oz

Ethan
Height 31.5in
Weight 26 lbs 4 oz

That puts both boys firmly in the 25th percentile range. They are walking and talking fine. They met/far exceeded all of the milestones.

Zoo #2

Yesterday Erick and I decided that we needed out of the house. I looked up the weather and it said it was going to be beautiful in SF so we got ready and went. I guess I looked up the wrong site because the weather was a good 10* cooler than what I had read and the sun was only out for maybe an hour. None the less we had fun and I was able to cross something off my list

playing with the elephant statue

elephant kisses

petting zoo (yep real goats)

To view my whole list of 101 in 1001 feel free to click. This time I crossed off #62

Then and Now! The same spot in the zoo the boys at 3 months and now.

After the zoo we continued the day in SF. The boys were doing amazingly well for not having napped and we were hungry. We headed to the Rainforest and down to the Pier 39. It was a great day.

Going Bananas

There is this cool place near us that is a big building with bounce houses in it. IT isnt that expensive and you pay for the kid and the adults are free. To beat the heat and get out of the house we met a few twin mommy friends there. The boys loved the slide (after some help).

Jump, jump, jump, slide. Doesn't it look like fun?

Happy 4th of July

The 4th was a bang at our house. We had a small BBQ, played in the water and lit fireworks.

Red white and blue babies

Water babies

Ready for fireworks

I hope everyone had a great 4th!

Kisses

The boys are into kisses and love right now. They really love to love each other but it is hard to get on film. I did get the boys to give all of you kisses though.
