All week I have been trying to write this blog. All week I have been told by blogger sorry we are down try again later. Now it is 6 days after the belly picture and 5 days after the u/s and it seems really silly to tell you about it.
On Monday last I took a belly picture...
26 weeks
On Tuesday Erick and I headed to the OB for my monthly check and an u/s. I put on another 3lbs so I am up a total of 12 lbs now. The Dr says I can gain 12 more and he would still be happy. My blood pressure is good. I passed my GD test. I signed the paperwork to make this our last baby. I go back in 4 weeks. After that appointment I start going every 2 weeks. My OBs office holds a drawing every month. Whenever you go in you fill out a paper and put your name in. Last month my only appointment was on the 29th. I guess that was lucky because I got a call saying I won the prize basket just before my appointment. After I scheduled my appointment they handed me my basket. It is AWESOME. It had a cooler bag, diaper bag, formula, coupons, books, milk storage bottles and more.
And because I know this is what you really want u/s pics

Short and sweet
We had my 18-19 week check today. The Dr was running about 20 min late. I am up 3 lbs from my last appointment (still down in total weight). We finally see the Dr and he walks in and asks if everything is good and do we have any concerns or questions. We say no and he asks "do you want to see your baby today?" We say sure and he walks out to set it up. We wait a bit and are walked to the U/S room. She asks why we are getting the u/s so early. We told her because he offered it. She gets to work. Baby looks good. She is pointing things out. She asks us if we want to know the gender. We tell her we would like her to write it down but dont want to know. She says she has a guess but isnt 100% sure. She also says she is having trouble seeing the face so we will get another u/s soon so we decide to just wait. She has me clean up and takes us to a room to wait for my OB. My OB comes in all smiles and says "we saw the gender? I know so I am going to make this fast before I spill it". he then tells us everything they could see looked good, downs and everything is low, he will see us in 4 weeks with another u/s at 27weeks.
We only got 2 shots of the baby this time here is the best one. Below that is the official report on the ultrasound.

Weekend Review
This weekend was hard for me for a few reasons. I had really been looking forward to it but as it came closer I got more and more nervous about it. Why you ask? Well Erick and the boys were going away for the weekend without me. This was the first time EVER I have been away from the boys.
Friday- The morning started out with my mom coming over to watch the boys so Erick and I could go see the belly baby. We had a great NT exam. I will get the results this Friday.
Then we went shopping so I would have something to eat while they were gone. When we came home Erick went and got my current lunch of choice. TOGOs Mmmmm
After lunch Erick and I packed the car and away they went. I spent the rest of Friday cleaning up toys, moving furniture and watching movies. I had a very short visit from some friends that brought me cake and cookies. mmmm. I "slept" on the couch because I didnt want to deal with the laundry on the bed LOL.
Saturday- I had a horrible nights sleep. The morning didnt get much better. When I woke up my kitchen had been over run by ants. They decided to skip the plate of cake on the counter and go for the leftover cake still in the container. After taking care of that and getting breakfast I headed to the store to get a rug doctor.
It took 2 passes to get the carpet clean and in order to do that the floor had to dry completely before I could do it again. I did the living room and dining room in shifts. I had to take a lot of breaks for the floor to dry and because if I started to work to hard or long I didnt feel good. I finally returned the cleaner at 10 pm after almost 12 hours of shampooing and dry time. I went to bed Saturday night with the floor still damp, fans on and the heat up.
Sunday- I slept in til almost 9. I guess I was really tired. I picked my mom up and we drove to have breakfast in another town. After that shopping to get organizers for the boys toys. Then back home to finish setting up before my men came home.
With the help of I mom I was also able to get the kitchen and front bathroom cleaned. And now I have a living area as well as a toy area. I love it! The boys came home at around 4 and they love the toy area too.
Monday- So far today has been full of kisses, snuggles, hugs, playing and relaxing. A perfect way to end a busy weekend.

wow
So today was a busy day. My mom came and took me to my appointments because Erick couldn't take the time off work. That's right I said appointments. I not only had a normal appointment with yet again another Dr but an ultrasound appointment. I was so excited to get to see the babies again but was not looking forward to the scale. I waited my turn and got to see the babies first. HAHAHA no scale yet.
I was really looking forward to this because well one it had been almost 6 weeks without seeing the babies and two movement locations had changed an I wanted to know where they were. We get in there and both babies go crazy. The tech even commented on how active they were which was funny because I was hardly feeling anything. The good news was both babies look great. 2 lbs 4 oz for A and 2lb 5 oz for B. The bad news is she couldn't see my cervix so I was told I would have to have an internal as well. It showed that my cervix was great but she asked about pressure on it because baby A is head down ad in position (B is transverse across the top from my left to my right). I got some more pictures but dont have them scanned so sorry you have to wait. After this I went back to the waiting room for my regular appointment.
Dun dun dun I get called and that means the scale. I knew I had gained I just didnt know how much. I get on and 4 lbs. Are you kidding me 4lbs in 2 weeks. I got myself ready for the talk. This brings me up to 23lbs total. He comes in and says whatever I am doing keep it up because I am doing great. I have no restriction except for flying. My GD test was scheduled and I have to do it fasting. So my next appointment is in two weeks.
Earlier this week Erick and I had a great photo shoot with a new photographer. I cant wait to see some proofs because it was so much fun. Oh and if you haven't done so already play my game and guess about the twins.

Yesterday in a nut shell***updated***
So the appointment didn't go that well and was great at the same time. My appointment was actually two appointments. First with the Dr then an hour and a half later with the U/S tech. My weight gain is is fine 13 lbs at 20w4d I am happy with that and they didn't seem to mind. My BP was 130/70 but I had just ran to the bathroom because I really had to pee. We got to hear the HB for the first time 170. He said both were so close it was hard for him to tell if he was hearing the same one or the other twin. He wants me on iron pills now. That really was all for the first appointment then he had us wait in the exam room for our next appointment. We tried telling him that it wasnt for an hour and a half and he didnt listen. He went and told the tech to squeeze us in sooner and that we would be in that room. There was nothing in there to do. We finally convince them that its ok we can sit in the waiting room and go out there and she calls us back again for our u/s.
The u/s went great. Both babies are healthy and measuring right on track as far as height/ length. Their weights were estimated at 13 and 14oz. One twin is across my belly behind my belly button with its head at my left hip and the other is heat at right him and down with feet at my crotch (guess I know who kicked me). The tech couldnt figure out if she was labeling them right because they have shifted so We think they have switched a and b. We opted not to know the genders but we did find out why I am not really feeling kicks. One baby is kicking the other in the face and getting kicked in the back of the head. They were very happy in there and very active. Erick was ear to ear grins the whole time.
When we left there we headed straight to SF for a Giants game. We were celibrating Ericks bday. The day ended great with the Giants winning 6-2.

new fears
I had an U/S today that was not at all fun. First the lady didnt listen to me about where to go to get pics of the babies til she was so frusterated she had to go get help who told her to do what I had mentioned 30 min beforehand. Because she was looking in the wrong spot and the babies didnt want their pics taken she pushed the wand so far into my tummy that it hurt. At a few points she actually had both hands on it to apply pressure (boy was I glad it wasnt vaginally).
Heartbeats: 151 & 156
Measurements: 13w3d & 13w5d
Heads: 14w6d
I was also told they look fraternal because of a large twin peak and that I have an anterior shared placenta.
I hate this because reading I came home and did doesnt sound good. The worst part is that the appointment was sent out and refered because my Dr was booked so this was just a tech that told me only what I have said above and then to talk to my Dr at my next appointment. Thats not for 2 more weeks. This makes me nervious. I want to know what all this means. I am overwhelmed with information and dont know what any of it means. On top of all that I have to go back to this same office tomorrow to complete the NT because my insurance wouldnt pay for the whole thing on one day. As I was leaving the tech said that in order for tomorrow to work both babies need to be flat on their backs, holding still and ready. HAHHAHAHA like that is going to happen. Today my appointment took 40 min of U/S because the babies were being oh so helpful.
And now what you have been waiting for!

My new update day
Well they changed my duedate and this changed the day of the week that I change weeks. My new day is thursday so if you are a regular reader evpect updates on Thursday or Friday and appointment days. So I feel great still. i am starting to think I may be a little crazy because I have had these feelings that I think may be one of the babies rolling over. I have only felt it 2-3 times but I dont think it is gas. i keep getting told it is to early. All I can think is that the babies are big and high so maybe. As I move into the second trimester, baby shifts into the growth and maturation stage. After weeks in the critical development stage, almost all of baby's systems are fully formed.

What a cute little plum and I have 2 of them in me. My new obsession is looking at the pic of the twins together. They really are cute and I cant stop looking so I think I will show you the pic again.

the Dr today
I got the shock of my life today at the dr they couldnt see the baby so I had to see a special U/S tech. As soon as the tech put the wand on my stomach she said both babies look great. Um both I say as I shake. I look at Erick and he is grinning ear to ear. You heard me right BOTH. Twin B was hiding behind Twin A and they both look great. I had my EDD changed to Jan 22 though I wont last that long. heart rates were 167 and 169. I am keeping this short as it is still sinking in but here is what you really want the pics.
