I am almost 32 weeks along now and am seeing the OB every 2 weeks. Today I got to the OB and it was crowded. I expected a wait. When we checked in I headed to the bathroom and Erick picked out something to read. I have to admit that it is getting harder and harder to get a sample in that tiny cup without making a mess. BUT that isnt something worth talking about. I came out with to sit with Erick and was called instantly...surprise! I guess my ob wasnt as busy as the others in the office today. So we head to the back and I get on the scale. dun dun dun.... up 2 lbs in the last 2 weeks. This means I am up a total of 15 lbs total for the pregnancy. Woo hoo not bad at all. Blood pressure was 108/60.
The Dr always asks if we have any question. I didnt but Erick did. He didnt want to speak up so I did the talking. I told the ob about the few contraction episodes I have had. His exact words were "You know your body better than anyone. You know when you need to call in or be seen and we can always squeeze you in". I think that really made Erick feel better (though he has still been a butt all day). We hear the heart again nice and strong. We were once again confirmed for Aug 15th (still dont have a time) and told see you in 2 weeks. Really I think we were at the OB maybe 20 min total. :)

30 weeks and all is...busy
Today I am 30 weeks.
Yep it looks like there is a baby in there. LOL
This past Thursday I saw the OB. Everything is going good. I am only up 13 lbs and my blood pressure was 112/70 so good as well. I am now going to be seen every 2 weeks. My pelvic bone is loosening up and is starting to become painful at times. BUT at least it isnt popping...yet. The OB said all he can do is give me vicodin. I didnt want it so I turned him down. We are still on track for AUG 15 being this little mans birthday.
Tonight we went on a hospital tour. We are delivering at the same hospital as the boys but they did a complete new unit/ward for women and babies. We learned all about the new policies and are very excited about delivering there. They walked us through a presentation telling us all about their new "baby friendly" status. They have a breastfeeding group that meets every Wednesday at 1pm. They are very much breast is best and you have to sign papers in order for your baby to be given a pacci or a bottle. The do skin to skin contact as soon as it is safe for mommy/baby. They have a nursery but it is only used for hearing tests or if the baby has an issue. Other than that the baby rooms with you at all times (even if under bili lights). Best part all rooms are private! That in and of itself is a HUGE blessing.
The hospital has also changed its visiting hours and policies. If you would like to know these please contact Erick and he will inform you.

All week
All week I have been trying to write this blog. All week I have been told by blogger sorry we are down try again later. Now it is 6 days after the belly picture and 5 days after the u/s and it seems really silly to tell you about it.
On Monday last I took a belly picture...
26 weeks
On Tuesday Erick and I headed to the OB for my monthly check and an u/s. I put on another 3lbs so I am up a total of 12 lbs now. The Dr says I can gain 12 more and he would still be happy. My blood pressure is good. I passed my GD test. I signed the paperwork to make this our last baby. I go back in 4 weeks. After that appointment I start going every 2 weeks. My OBs office holds a drawing every month. Whenever you go in you fill out a paper and put your name in. Last month my only appointment was on the 29th. I guess that was lucky because I got a call saying I won the prize basket just before my appointment. After I scheduled my appointment they handed me my basket. It is AWESOME. It had a cooler bag, diaper bag, formula, coupons, books, milk storage bottles and more.
And because I know this is what you really want u/s pics

BEST WEEKEND EVER
This weekend really was fabulous and all that it implies. It really was one of those weekends where things just went right. Not to mention that it was Mothers Day and our 6th wedding anniversary.
Friday- My lovely sister hosted a BBQ/playdate in the park so we went. Erick let me relax and he played with the boys. Laura's nephew chases Ethan when he ran. It was a nice day at the park with yummy food.
Saturday- Erick let me sleep in because we had early plans for Sunday. I slept in til 830. When I got up I ate and then went back to bed for a nap. The sleep was much needed as I am up more than a few times at night now to get comfy or to use the bathroom. Once I got up we all got ready and headed to the zoo. You see 3 weeks ago the boys and I went to the zoo (in Sac a 30 min drive) and we got a year pass. We figured that we only have to use it 3 times and it is paid for. So in 3 weeks I have already gone twice. The boys love it.
This time we went without a stroller. Because Ethan runs he had to hold a hand or get a ride on us. Owen started using his new favorite phrase "I do it my self!" So most the time we heard "I walk by myself!" when we asked him to hold our hands. I was fine with him walking with us as long as he stayed with us. Erick was a little more jumpy but Owen proved he could do it. It was a beautiful there was a light breeze, the zoo had a special event going on so there were booths and performances, it wasnt that busy. Beautiful! We road the carousel and fed the giraffes. Really Amazing. More than once Sac Mag took our pictures. We will have to see if we get in the June issue.
Sunday- We got up as a family when the boys woke. Erick got the boys dressed while I got showered and dressed. Then we swapped. We met my mom at Marie Callendars for brunch and totally gorged. So yummy. The boys got me 2 movies, chocolates, and a card they signed themselves. (side story I knew about the card and chocolates because Owen told me when they came back from shopping a few days ago "Mommy we got books and chocolate candy for you mommy!"). When we came home Erick sent me to the room to watch my movies while he played outside with the boys. When they went down for a nap he came in and we snuggled. Then he went and got us lunch for our Anniversary. When the boys woke we played as a family and Erick cooked the boys dinner. After they were down for the night he went and got us dinner. We opted not to do Anniversary gifts this year due to other events we already attended.
Overall it was a fantastic weekend.
